as a kid he collected stones and minerals which he kept since he is still passionate about the aesthetics of objects and the stories they tell.
nowadays he also loves other beautiful objects like art, designer items and random cars.
an old volkswagen transporter from the 70s and a porsche 911 targa from the 80s are among his collection.
through modelling he gets the chance to travel and spend time in places where you normally do not go as a tourist.
while being on the road he enjoys listening to podcasts on subjects ranging from history to culture and politics to economy.
rutger also likes to go hiking and partying.
